The firm was established in Hartford in 1953. Our office has been located in Newington since 1989 having previously been located in Wethersfield since 1975. As a result of a merger with Bert Rouleau CPA in Bristol we also have a Bristol office. Both offices are open year round. We are open Monday - Friday. During tax season (January - April 15) additional hours (evenings and Saturday) are available. To make an appointment give us a call. As an IRS approved electronic filer we can file tax returns electronically including both Federal and State tax returns. We can also prepare prior year tax returns for you (business or individual) as well as amend or correct tax returns you have already filed. Payment can be made by Master Card, Visa, Discover Card and American Express.
Staff and associates maintain their knowledge and skills by attending workshops, seminars and college courses in taxes and business topics annually to provide service to our clients. This includes seminars and workshops conducted by the CT Society of Public Accountants (CSCPA) and area colleges and universities. We can provide the knowledge and experience to help you with your business financial and tax issues or assist you as an individual with your financial and tax issues. Personal year round service is how we operate. .We are available year round with two local offices.

tax returns and with direct deposit of any refunds you have your money
usually within several weeks of the tax returns being filed without

Firm Updates:
Each year some of our associates volunteer their time to prepare tax returns and provide other assistance through CAAS and the Bristol Community Organization (BCO). At Fulco, DiTommaso, McMahon & Co. updating skills and community involvement are important to us.
On November 5, 2011 Michael McMahon was reelected to the Board of Directors of the Mass. Library Trustees Association (MLTA) during the Annual Meeting of the organization. The MLTA is a 501(c)(3) organization which provides service to trustees of libraries in Mass.
In June 2011 Community Accounting Aid & Services, Inc. (CAAS) an area non-profit organization 501(c)(3) announced the 2011-2012 Board of Directors and Officers. Patrick McMahon, MST, CPA was named Secretary of the organization. He has served in various capacities on the Board of Directors over the years including as President. He also volunteers for the organization with tax preparation and counseling for small businesses.
In April 2011 Michael McMahon, M.S. attended the 2011 Financial Planning Association Ct State Conference. He is currently serving as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for an area Public Library as well as Chairman of a local Economic Development Commission. In addition he is responsible for the design, development and updating of several websites for local organizations.
Patrick J. McMahon, MST, CPA again volunteered with CAAS to prepare tax returns in Bristol in March 2010. He has served as President of CAAS as well as serving on the Board of Directors for a number of years.
In April 2011 Patrick McMahon, MST, CPA attended the 2011 Financial Planning Association CT State Conference. The conference brings together several hundred financial planning professionals from CT and surrounding states to attend workshops and updates relating to the field of financial and tax planning. As a result he is able to provide enhanced knowledge to the firms clients. Also attending was Michael McMahon, MS of the firm.
In February 2009 Paul Michalowski, BS was selected by the local Town Council to become a member of the Energy Commission in the community he lives in.
In the Fall 2008 Michael McMahon was elected to the Board of Directors of the Mass. Library Trustees Association (MLTA). He is currently the Chairman of a local Library Board of Trustees.
